At Innoprom 2019, the Russian Copper Company group wanted to show its latest-generation industrial plants by making people explore them in a unique way.
By using the interaction to pursue this goal, we designed the Stargate: a diamond-shaped portal standing in front of a holographic theater that allows people to browse contents by natural hand's movements.
When the audience walks into the holo room, they're immediately presented with the stargate glowing and puffing fog veils away, asking for interaction. Once a person put his hand inside and gets detected, the system turns colors, lights, and fog down by DMX control, and the holographic theater beyond gets activated.
By pointing with fingers, the users can browse different holographic contents, while rotating their wrists they dive into industrial plants revolving them on three axes.
The magic scenery evoked by holograms makes this experience really unique for people who feel like active players of this holo-experience at the RCC pavilion.
