Account & Design Leader

We’re looking for an Account & Design Leader who seamlessly blends strategic thinking with a strong design sensibility, and who thrives on building trust-based relationships with clients and guiding them through every phase of ambitious projects.

Coming from a background in design, interaction, or architecture you know how to translate client visions into clear creative directions and actionable plans. With at least 7 years of project experience, you’ve led multidisciplinary teams, managed budgets, and delivered complex installations or experiences with confidence and flair.

You’re a natural negotiator with an innate ability to understand client needs and transform them into outstanding creative solutions. You build relationships based on trust, clarity, and shared ambition. Fluent in English, you’re comfortable managing high-stakes discussions, aligning multiple stakeholders, and representing Leva with both creative and operational excellence.

What you’ll do

  • Act as the main point of reference for clients and support the Business Development team on RFQs from new prospects.
  • Identify and develop cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with existing clients during project phases and on-site activities, as well as new potential opportunities directly on-site with clients or other project stakeholders.
  • Collect and analyze client briefs, exploring possible creative directions and relevant references together with the client.
  • Serve as the main client interface for contractual, creative, and strategic discussions (including change requests), managing expectations with clarity and confidence.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Technologists to shape creative proposals and coordinate with the Tech Lead to validate the preliminary concept and budget (Scope & Quotation).
  • Coordinate with the COO to define the project team structure and prepare the kickoff documentation (SOW, objectives, stakeholders, timelines, budget, payment terms, cost center, and estimated effort).
  • Develop and maintain an overall GANTT schedule, overseeing progress to ensure timelines are met.
  • Oversee detailed team planning with the Tech Lead, ensuring daily and weekly schedules align with the overall project plan.
  • Monitor project costs and coordinate milestone-based payment processes.
  • Resolve resource allocation conflicts in collaboration with the COO.
  • Guarantee that on-site setups meet the quality standards defined during design phases, act as the primary client contact during installation, collect feedback, and identify new opportunities.

In this role, you will:

Mechanical Engineer

  • Contribute to early-stage feasibility analysis and lead brainstorming sessions to identify and evaluate mechanical concepts with a focus on risk mitigation, performance, and manufacturability.
  • Support make-or-buy decisions throughout the development process, identifying strategic opportunities for in-house fabrication or external procurement.
  • Coordinate directly with suppliers to research and source both off-the-shelf and custom mechanical solutions, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
  • Deliver preliminary mechanical designs, including kinematic layouts, dimensional studies, and first-order structural calculations.
  • Develop mechanical and structural systems, including motion transmission chains, linkages, and drive mechanisms, performing early-stage stress analyses and simulations to verify performance and durability.
  • Compile and maintain complete and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring traceability and alignment with documentation standards.
  • Evaluate and select the most suitable manufacturing process—such as sheet metal bending, welding, CNC machining, vacuum forming, injection molding, electroerosion (EDM), or additive manufacturing (FDM, SLS, SLA)—based on project constraints.
  • Lead rapid prototyping efforts using 3D printing, hands-on assembly, and functional testing to validate concepts.
  • Produce shop drawings and documentation in accordance with Leva’s standards, ensuring clarity and consistency for seamless fabrication and assembly.
  • Design and specify custom tooling, jigs, and fixtures to enable precise and repeatable builds.
  • Oversee handover to assembly teams, providing technical support and verifying that mechanical intent is maintained during installation.

Embedded & Motion Engineer

Play a key role in bridging hardware and software to enable precise, smooth and reliable motion control in our kinetic installations. From architecture design to firmware development and on-site validation, you'll be at the core of our most dynamic systems.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and validate power and signal distribution architectures, ensuring optimal noise management, safety and scalability throughout the system.
  • Co-develop actuation systems (motors, drives, encoders) in close collaboration with mechanical engineers, with a strong focus on smooth motion profiles and control accuracy.
  • Design and lay out custom PCBs, from schematic capture to board routing, selecting the most suitable components to meet functional and mechanical constraints.
  • Oversee PCB prototyping (through-hole, SMT) and perform hands-on testing to validate signal integrity, thermal behavior, and mechanical robustness.
  • Manage the transition to PCB production and assembly, including BOM finalization, supplier coordination, and post-assembly functional checks.
  • Design cabling and connection schemes across the full installation, balancing modularity, robustness and ease of assembly.
  • Develop low-level firmware (RTOS, C++, waveform generation, interrupt handling, timers) to implement tight real-time control loops and actuation logic.

For the legendary show L'Épée du Roi Arthur at Puy du Fou, Leva engineered a striking outdoor kinetic installation that brings the mythical figure of Morgane to life.

Introducing the world's largest kinetic wall, a awe-inspiring 209 square meters installation at Aramco's Innovation Center in Riyadh.

Kinetic Wall Series

The Kinetic Wall is a mechatronic and interactive installation that attracts people, elevates the engagement and reveals products or content hidden behind the wall.

Al Kharsaah Activations

For the groundbreaking ceremony of Qatar's largest solar panel field, we developed three interactive installations to engage VIPs and investors.

La Nuvola

Our custom-made Split-Flap installation made of hundreds of dynamic modules that mechanically display images, creating a vibrant and engaging scenography.

Infinite Bloom

Infinite Bloom is a set of five mechatronic flowers that unveil a coloured heart made of light and complex figures telling the story of Azerbaigian treasures, At Dubai Epo 2020.

Matrix

Matrix is made of fifteen columns bearing a total of 45 individually controlled monitors that move in sync with the contents.

Nebulae Barzan Activations

Nebulae, the Kinetic Scanner, and the Donuts Photo Stage are a set of three activations we designed and fabricated for the Barzan Gas Project inauguration event in Doha.

Chandeliers

Suspended like trees from the ceiling, this mixed-media installation at The Address Sky View creates fluid visual flows through light and video content.

Sand Flows

This project featured a real-time particle system and interaction setup, allowing visitors to engage with shifting particle streams inspired by Saudi landscapes, evolving into dynamic textures throughout the day.

Kinetic Echo

Kinetic Echo is a set of two interactive kinetic walls installed on the panoramic walkway of The Address Sky View in Dubai.
